Teresa Glidden, Executive Director

Teresa Glidden serves as the campus executive director for Towne Park Assisted Living and Exceptional Living Center of Brazil. She enjoys interacting with the residents and visitors at our campus of care. Teresa comes from a background of managing senior living apartments in Indianapolis and is a licensed nursing home administrator.

"I have found our residents at Towne Park and Exceptional Living Center of Brazil to be fascinating. Getting to know them and their stories is one of my favorite parts of the day. Since I just recently moved to Brazil, it's been a tremendous pleasure learning about the community from our friendly staff, residents and visitors," said Teresa.

"Each day, I'll work to be present in the moment and appreciate our staff and residents. Treating others with the dignity and respect is the cornerstone of how I can be of service to others. Each day is an opportunity to exceed expectations of those we serve," continued Teresa.

Christy Hogan, Director of Nursing

We welcome Christy Hogan to the Towne Park Assisted Living of Brazil team! Christy is a native of Brazil and serves as the director of nursing. When asked about why she decided to work in assisted living, Christy said, "I love caring for the residents and putting a smile on their faces. I know I play a role in supporting our seniors to live as independently as possible."
With a degree in nursing from Ivy Community College, Christy has worked as a critical care cardiac nurse and in a laboratory setting. She has served as an assisted director of nursing at a continuing care retirement community, which included assisted living, and as the director of nursing at a skilled nursing center. In addition to her work in both the hospital, skilled nursing, and assisted living setting, Christy has worked with home health and hospice. Her experience runs the range of care which benefits our residents.
"I choose to work in assisted living because I enjoy the environment and feel like residents become a part of our family. Towne Park is a great company to work for because of the many friendly, helpful team members," commented Christy.
As area seniors begin to make the transition from home to assisted living, Christy looks forward to exceeding their expectations in a way that validates their decision to move from their home to Towne Park. "My goal is to make each person feel comfortable with the care we provide. I know we have the skill, experience, and commitment to making this a wonderful place to live."

Maggie Dryer, Chef/Food Services Director

As our chef and food services director, Maggie provides delicious and nutritious meals that our residents desire. "I love speaking to our guests. Their stories about are always inspiring. I enjoy learning about a resident's favorite meal and then cooking it as a surprise. The smiles that come as part of the surprise are the best! At Towne Park, we are always looking for ways to make our guests feel at home because this is their home, and we are just happy to visit with them throughout the day," said Maggie.
As a trained chef, Maggie attended Vincennes University and holds a degree in the culinary arts. She has worked in the food service industry for nearly 17 years. Maggie knows a helping hand, smile and kindness goes a long way and purposefully shows this to our residents each day. A friend once gave the advice to which she lives by "Keep the kitchen aromatic and the inner persons full." What great advice for all.
